Ministry Locations
The original ministry location of The Lizzie Project is Choluteca, Honduras, and numerous outlying villages that began our founding in 2009. In 2020, we had the opportunity to expand our ministry into the area of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Choluteca & Outlying Villages
Support for Scholarships & Education
Southern Honduras
School-age children and young adults in Choluteca and outlying villages are the focus of The Lizzie Project’s ministry:
- Evangelism and educational support for children, families and residents within the Choluteca area and outlying villages.
- Scholarship Funds of $150/year provide backpacks, school books and uniforms for one academic year 5K – Grade 12.
- Scholarship Funds of $1,000/year provide nursing school for 36 months.
- Main base of operation for The Lizzie Project is the Shalom Church located in Choluteca.
- 100% of your donation is used for the educational scholarships, books and uniforms needed by the children.
San Pedro Sula
Support for Teacher Supplies & New Classrooms, Clothing & Scholarships
Northern Honduras
Brazos de Jesus (Arms of Jesus) school in San Pedro Sula is the focus of The Lizzie Project’s ministry:
- Evangelism and educational support for children who have been rescued from the local dump to attend school.
- Donated funds provide basic teacher supplies for classroom needs (desks, chairs, white boards, pencils, etc.). As needed, scholarship funds and clothing is given.
- Some donated yearly funds cover some classroom construction costs.
- Main base of operation is from the Brazos de Jesus (Arms of Jesus) school located in San Pedro Sula.
- 100% of your donation is used as needed for teacher supplies, scholarships, clothing and/or new classroom construction.
